Introduction    We deeply believe that paying equal attention to the technology and the humanity would brighten students’ IT professional. Thus, the IT department mainly trains students who will enjoy contributing their IT talent with the capabilities of information-based professional technology and the humanity related philosophy in the information related industry. Educational Concepts    Nurturing students with healthy personality as well as professional technological knowledge is our goal to educate and develop students’ IT talents. Before graduation, they would learn well on interpersonal communication, professional ethics, and teamwork skills so that they can contribute their expertise to the information related industry. Expertise Features    With the need of increasing information industry development and the need of employing the IT professional in the Science Park in Taiwan, the IT department emphasizes on multimedia applications, mobile communications, and embedded information system programs. For the multimedia applications’ program, students can explore their expertise in the field of image and video signal processing technology, etc. For the mobile communication program, students can explore their expertise in the field of communication principle, information security, mobile programming, network engineering, and wireless communication, etc. For the embedded information system program, students can learn their expertise in the field of E-Learning, multimedia technology, database, network marketing, RFID applications, data mining, artificial Intelligence, etc. Students can choose either one program to enhance their IT talent and dedicate their R&D careers for working in the IT related workplace after graduation.
